A Little About Myself...
My name is Courtney Hansen and I grew up in West Michigan and attended Michigan State University where I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Child Development. I moved to Southern Maryland where I taught in an open space, Title 1 school for five years. I missed West Michigan and after five years, I returned home and started to work on my master's degree. I am focusing on literacy and special education and hope to complete my degree soon.
Since moving back to Michigan, I have had a few different jobs in the education field. I have worked as a TItle 1 Paraprofessional at Montague Area Public Schools, I have been a guest teacher in many West Michigan Schools, and I have also worked as a long term guest teacher at Whitehall teaching Kindergarten as well as in Fruitport teaching fifth grade.
